All fall down

Woah, huge server crash. I can't get to Spleenville.com, so I went and checked my hosting peoples' server monitor pages, and for a few moments there were over a hundred servers in the red, mine included. And what's annoying? Now my server doesn't show as one with a problem, but I still can't get to my site.

Server slowdowns

Can't get to Spleenville.com at the moment, though a peripheral page where I keep some bookmarks loaded just fine. It was probably in the cache. Oh well, it's late, I should go to bed soon, I don't have anything I want to blog about right now anyway.

Well hell

Several servers including the one Spleenville lives on are currently down. Don't worry folks, this doesn't usually last long. Yeah.

Things seem to be back to normal. Oh no now I've jinxed it I bet.

Socket Timeout

...on Spleenville, 7:13 PM. This is the first time in a while I haven't been able to get to my site.

Update, 8:38 PM -- well, it's supposedly back up, but the site is still loading slowly on my end. I had better not be getting hammered by spammers.

Second update, 8:45 PM: yup, it's down again. "Service check timed out," five minute load time" -- etc.

Spleenville Server having problems

...again. Five minute load, socket timeout after 10 seconds, that sort of thing.

Update, 9:44 AM: okay, everything seems to be back up.

A bit of downage for the weekend

Is "downage" a word? I don't even know. Anyway, in between internet outages here at meatspace headquarters (no, Verizon, the modem "can't hear you now"), Spleenville's servers are having some troubles of their own wherever it is they reside. New Jersey, I think.
